Glasses and lenses

Glasses fitted to your face and your day

The optical team helps you choose frames and lenses that suit your eyes and your day, then fits and adjusts them. Your prescription is yours: fill it here or anywhere you like.

What we do

  • Frames in many shapes, sizes and materials

  • Lens choices explained before you decide

  • Adjustments and repairs for glasses you already own

What happens at the visit

A first pair usually takes two visits: one to choose, one to pick up.

  1. 01

    Step 1: Bring your prescription

A copy from us or from another doctor works.

  2. 02

    Step 2: Choose your frames

Try on frames, and an optical assistant helps you find a fit.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Choose your lenses

We explain the lens types and coatings, and tell you what each one costs before you decide.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Fitting and pickup

We adjust the fit on your face, and show you how to care for your glasses.

How it is billed

Part of the cost of glasses may be covered by a vision plan. We tell you the amount before you order.

  • Frames and lenses

Your plan may cover part of both. We check your benefits before the visit when we can.

  • Fitting and adjustments

Adjusting a pair you already own is part of the service. We say so first if there is a fee.

  • Repairs and replacement lenses

Billed separately, and we say so up front.

Questions we hear

Can I use my vision plan?

We work with many vision plans. Call the office you plan to visit, and we check your benefits before the visit when we can.

Can you fix a broken pair?

Often, yes. Bring them in, and the optical team tells you whether a repair or a new lens is the better choice.

Can I bring a prescription from another doctor?

Yes. Bring the copy you were given, and we make your glasses from it.
