Your prescription is yours
After your exam and fitting, we give you a copy of your prescription. You can fill it here, at another optical shop or online. You never have to buy from us to get it.
How it works

Step 1: Glasses
When your exam is finished, you get your glasses prescription, whether or not you buy glasses from us.

Step 2: Contact lenses
When your fitting is finished, you get your contact lens prescription, and you can order lenses from any seller.

Step 3: Any office, any time
Ask any of the six offices for another copy, and we send it to you or to the seller you name.
Questions we hear
Do I have to buy my glasses from you?
No. The prescription is yours, and you can fill it anywhere.
Will you charge me for a copy?
No. We give you a copy after your exam and fitting, and we send another when you ask.
How long does a prescription last?
It depends on the type and on your eyes. The doctor tells you when to come back for a new one.
